Today we feature Lisa Garrelts, People and Talent Partner for our technology business. Lisa has a wealth of experience in human resources (HR) and has lived and worked across Europe, settling in Switzerland more than 7 years ago. Prior to Sygnum she was the Head of HR at the Cardano Foundation.
Hello, Lisa!
What do you do at Sygnum?
My scope is to drive growth and scale our technology department in the most advanced way possible – by expanding our human and digital capabilities. Besides that, I am also a business partner to help address and solve the many puzzles and challenges that come up when humans work together 😊.
What is the most enjoyable and most challenging part of your job?
What I enjoy most about my job and Sygnum is the people - my team, the line managers I support, and our Group Executive Board. The role, environment, and culture make me feel both challenged and empowered simultaneously. My biggest challenge is being able to juggle multiple projects effectively – when balancing between ad- hoc requests, strategic alignment, and operational work, there is never a boring day!
Describe Future Finance in three words?
Accessible, Incorruptible, Transparent
Bitcoin or Ethereum? Why?
Ethereum – because its use is applicable in multiple areas and can be further advanced.
If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?
Happiness and time – couldn’t choose only one. 😊
